Misty Bailey, a British-Jamaican artist of extraordinary versatility, shines as a luminary in the world of entertainment and entrepreneurship. Her illustrious journey through music, modeling, acting, and business showcases her unwavering dedication and exceptional talent.

Born in the scenic town of Port Antonio, Jamaica, Misty’s artistic roots took hold early in her life and later flourished in Kingston. At just 13, her passion for music and performance blossomed as she became an integral part of the Papine High School choir. This early exposure laid the foundation for her remarkable career, leading to appearances on television’s “All Together Sing” and a nationwide tour, gracing prestigious music festivals and esteemed art theaters.

In 2009, at the age of 15, Misty embarked on a modeling career, quickly making a name for herself by excelling in renowned competitions like Caribbean Model Search and Fashion Face of the Caribbean. Her journey was marked by notable milestones, including her debut recording with SupaNova Production in 2011, captivating television commercials, and opening performances for distinguished Reggae and Dancehall artists in Jamaica. Misty further solidified her presence in the fashion world through her participation in the hit TV series, “Mission Catwalk.”

In 2013, Misty expanded her career internationally by moving to the United Kingdom. Her striking presence graced campaigns for prestigious haircare giants such as L’Oréal, Revlon, and Balmain, among others. Her modeling portfolio boasts magazine covers and nearly a decade of appearances on the grand stages of London Fashion Week.

In 2016, Misty’s single, “What If,” marked her debut on UK radio waves, signifying the beginning of her music career in the UK. Two years later, in 2018, she received the esteemed B.E.F.T.A Award, recognizing her exceptional achievements in modeling within the United Kingdom.

From 2019 to 2021, Misty continued her ascent, collaborating with iconic brands including Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Adidas, Ellesse, Debenhams, Stoli, and Samsung. Her striking presence graced billboards, adorned the pages of British Vogue, and illuminated television advertisements. Additionally, Misty shared her inspiring journey through interviews on television and features in newspaper articles.

I have organized and styled multiple photo shoots and shows, collaborated with photographers on stylized shoots, and increased my involvement in marketing by organizing in-salon events such as Client Appreciation Events. Additionally, I have taken entrepreneurship and marketing workshops. I am always seeking new ways to use my creativity and look forward to future events.

I continue to expand my knowledge in the hair industry through classes and by attending various Professional Academies, Workshops, and Classes. Now, as a business owner, I am learning about productivity, reports, inventory management, and building business relationships. Looking ahead, I see many opportunities for growth and expansion.
